Home Inspections

Home Inspections

I provide comprehensive home inspection services throughout the Philadelphia Area to assist buyers in evaluating their potential new home.

How It Works

We’ll walk through the house together checking to make sure things are in good condition. From the basement to the roof, I’ll evaluate all of the areas of the house and look for signs of issues that might impact the value and/or livability of the house. I’ll answer your questions and help you get acquainted with the house systems. Most inspections take 2-4 hours depending on the size of the property, the issues encountered, and other factors.

Within  24 to 48 hours of completing the inspection, I’ll follow up with a thorough report that summarizes and prioritizes all of the issues we find, in addition to general information about the house.

After receiving the report, I’m more than happy to discuss any questions or concerns over the phone. If anything needs a second look, I’ll return to the property at no extra charge to re-inspect the item for clarification.

After attending the inspection and reviewing my report, you’ll come away with a deep understanding of the ins and outs, perks and defects of the house.

ASHI Standards of Practice

The inspection is performed in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the American Society of Home Inspectors. ASHI's Standards of Practice are the most widely accepted and stringent home inspection guidelines in use today.

Although the home was only 12 years old and appeared to us to be in excellent condition, Peter explained major defects, made suggestions for improvement, and provided home maintenance tips.

With the AHI report, we were able to negotiate what amounted to about $6,000+ worth of repairs.
